The Ambrose Duru-tutored Odion Ighalo Football club Thursday defeated De Elites FC in the final of the Epe Conference of the 1XBET Community Football Championship.
Oghalo FC goal came through top striker, Michael Nwanchukwu in the 53rd minute of play. His winning goal made it goal number five in two matches.
Nwanchukwu’s teammate, Yusuf Fawaz, finished as the Epe Conference highest goal scorer with six goals.
In the Epe Conference, a total of 40 goals were scored in 13 matches making it the highest goals scored in the championship, so far.
