Go Round FC coach, Ngozi Elechi says there is nothing new to see in the soon to begin Nigeria National League, NNL season.

Elechi, speaking while rounding up for the year said his team have recruited well and they will be ready for the League.

“We recruited well and our target, like I said before is 5 away wins to gain promotion.

“After seeing the draws, I can say it is good too. We have signed some fine players too. In our pre-season trial games, we played last week, we won one 9-1 and won the other one 4-0, so I can say we are on course,” Elechi said.

Elechi continued that his optimism is hinged on the fact that there is nothing new in the NNL from his point of view.

“I am optimistic because there is nothing new in the league. All those opponents in our group are familiar foes. We know the players, we know the coaches, whether it is Bayelsa United, Warri Wolves or Calabar Rovers. We will train well and prepare for them all.”

After the NNL Annual General Assembly in Benin last week, Friday, 11th February 2022 was picked as Kick Off date for the league.

“I will continue to say the opponents are familiar foes. We have done the right recruitment and we are ready to go,” Elechi enthused.
