2022 CAFWCL: Bayelsa Queens Drop To Third Spot

The group B standing of the CAF Women Champions League released indicates that Nigeria’s champion Bayelsa Queens are now placed third on the log.

The WAFU B champions began their campaign in the competition on a losing note to the tournament defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns women of South Africa.

The lone-goal victory of TP Mazembe of DR Congo over the Egyptian Wadi Degla pushed Bayelsa Queens to third position.

Marveille Kajinga scored the only goal of the game in the first half and secured maximum points for the Congolese champions.

Actions will resume in the group on Thursday with Bayelsa Queens facing TP Mazembe and Sundowns taking on Wadi Degla.
