2022 World Cup: Ten Hag names Man Utd players who impressed in Qatar

Date:

Manchester United head coach, Erik ten Hag, has singled out the club’s players who impressed at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ten Hag hailed the likes of Brazil’s Casemiro, France’s Raphael Varane, England trio Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw, and Portugal stars Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes for their respective display for their countries in Qatar.

The Dutchman said this while insisting that he is prepared for the challenge of mentally managing Man United players who return from the World Cup.

“What I see until now, I am really happy with the performance of our players, they are really in good shape. We talked already about Casemiro, but you see Bruno, great World Cup until now,” Ten Hag was quoted by Manchester Evening News as saying.

“Diogo, in two games, did really well. If I see the English, all three [Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford] are performing magnificently. Rapha Varane is back, is doing well. So I am really happy with the performances of all our players.”
