2023 AFCON Qualifier: Djurtus return to Bissau, back in training for Super Eagles

The Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau are back home in the country’s capital, Bissau, ahead of the second leg of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Baciro Cande’s men defeated the Super Eagles 1-0 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Friday.

The players and their officials departed Abuja immediately after the game.

They will train later today at the Estadio 24 de Setembro in Bissau.

The reverse fixture is slated for the ground on Monday.

The Djurtus top the group with seven points from three games, while the Super Eagles are in second position with six points from same number of matches.
