2023 FIFA Women’s World: Super Falcons Opponent, Canada Resume Training After Few Days Of Strike

After a few days of strike, the Nigeria Super Falcons group opponent at the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada has returned to training.

The Canadian team went on strike on Friday after being at the loggerhead with their Football Association over equal pay with the men’s team.

While the disagreement was on the football body further announced a budget cut to all the women’s programs which also enraged the players.

The men’s team also supported the FA but the women’s team finally agreed to return to training on Sunday while the discussion on the negotiations is still on.
