Foremost Lagos based club, FC Bethel Sporting is battle ready to confront any foe at the 2026 Jagaban Cup competition which begins March 28, at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos.
FC Bethel Sporting who were drawn in group A alongside 36 Lion FC, defending champions SGFC Athletics and Klassisch FC, their Head coach, Nathaniel Olagunju said, have been engaged in a series of friendly matches to fine tune and perfect their strategies for both the Jagaban Cup and Lagos FA Cup competition which they will also be partaking in that began on Sunday across designated centres in the state.

According to him, they are coming to compete seriously for the trophy and will therefore hit the ground running from their very first game which is important they pick maximum three points.
“We are battle ready for the Jagaban Cup.
“We’ve been taking the boys through series of friendly matches to prepare them physically and mentally.

“I have no doubt we’ll do well, therefore I’m calling on all our teeming supporters to come out in their numbers to support us.
FC Bethel Sporting played two friendly games last week in preparation for these coming competitions.
At Onikan Stadium now Mobolaji Arena, they spanked FC Middlewell .5-1 with Samuel Udoh getting two of the goals while Edwin Onazi Abah was amongst the goal scorers.
Their game against CATS FC at the Legacy Pitch ended in a 2-1 victory in their favour. Captain Solomon Friday, Anu Oluwapo, Ebuka Emmanuel, Jimoh Waheed, Udoh Samuel, Sopuru Somto and Abubakar Mahmood were among the top performers.
Bethel will face Klassisch FC in their first fixture at the tournament, before confronting SGFC Athletics in their second match and 36 Lion FC in their final fixture.
