NAGAFF National President Ezisi Bestowed With Pro- Wrestling Africa Grand Patron Award

..Pledges Support To Professional Wrestling

President of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders ( NAGAFF), High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi Thursday, added another feather to his cap, when he was bestowed with the award of grand patron by Pro-Wrestling Africa, the body saddled with the development of professional wrestling in the African continent.

The impressive ceremony at the association’s national headquarters in Apapa Lagos attracted top executives of the body as well as the executives of the wrestling federation.

Presenting the award to him, Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya noted that Chief Ezisi was considered for the honour because of his exceptional commitment in the area of leadership, youth empowerment, service and institutional growth.

“Today’s event is not just an award presentation. It’s a moment of recognition, gratitude and respect for a man whose contributions to leadership, professional development and service to humanity have earned him a special place in the hearts of many.

Olukoya also posited that the honour reflects their confidence in his person and belief that his association with Pro- Wrestling Africa, will further advance the ideals of sportsmanship , youth development and institutional growth on the continent,

According to him, Chief Ezisi who was recently named the ‘Freight Forwarder of the Year’ at the Maritime Industry Merit Awards in 2026, since becoming the National President of NAGAFF, has ensured that the association has shifted towards digital transformation, members welfare, collaborative and non- violent advocacy as well as positioned the association as a partner in modernizing Nigerian ports amongst other achievements.

” High Chief Ezisi since becoming the National President of NAGAFF, has shown that true leadership is measured not by title but by impact on people, institutions and on the future of an industry.

“His courage, vision and commitment to the welfare of members and the advancement of the freight forwarding profession have distinguished him as a worthy role model

“We at Pro- Wrestling Africa believe that sports development thrives best when it is supported by men and women of vision, integrity and influence; individuals who understand the power of sports as a tool for youth empowerment, discipline, unity,and social transformation and that’s why High Chief Ezisi was considered for this award”, he stressed.

Receiving the award, High Chief Ezisi, thanked Pro- Wrestling Africa for considering him worthy for the award; saying that he accepted it because it’s not just like any other award but came from a professional body.

Chief Ezisi said that as a lover of sports and humanity, his association will partner with Pro- Wrestling Africa in order to further develop the mats man game in the country.

He used the occasion to announce that since he came on board, they’ve established a NAGAFF Academy where knowledge is impacted to young ones on freight forwarding business.

In his remarks, Deputy National President Headquarters of NAGAFF Simeon Nwonu, expressed happiness that Pro-Wrestling Africa identified with Chief Ezisi, with a declaration that Pro-Wrestling Africa will grow from strength to strength, as no group that has associated with Chief Ezisi fails.

” It is a thing of joy that you’re honouring our President today, which is an honour done to NAGAFF. I want to say that your body will grow from strength to strength because no group that associates with Chief Ezisi fails and you’ll never fail in moving wrestling forward”, he declared.
