2026 World Cup: Brazil Coach Dorival Junior Confident of Final Appearance

Brazil’s head coach, Dorival Junior, has confidently predicted that his team will reach the final of the 2026 World Cup.

The Selecao, who last clinched the title in 2002 with a victory over Germany in the final, will be aiming to end a 24-year drought by then.

With a record five World Cup titles to their name, Brazil stands as the most successful national team in the tournament’s history, having also secured second, third, and fourth place finishes on two occasions each.

Junior is optimistic about Brazil’s prospects and believes they will be among the final contenders in 2026.

“We will be in the 2026 World Cup final. I am certain of it,” he stated confidently. “You can record this. I have no doubts—we will be there.”
