Sporting Director of the West Africa Challenge Cup,WACC, Rolland Zohoun has confirmed that the biggest Africa preseason tournament is scheduled to kickoff August 14th-22nd 2021.

The German based organiser said August 12th and 13th will be days for arrival and 14th will be opening ceremony.

The brain behind the Tic2F continental tournament point that every arrangement are in top gear to ensure the Benin Republic government give visitors a good host.

“The West Africa Challenge Cup, will be first and biggest West Africa preseason tournament”.

“It will be a preparatory tournament for clubs that top their leagues, thus qualified to represent her country in the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions league and the CAF continental Cup to prepare before the bigger stage”.

“The preseason will also help to forster oneness and build relationship among clubs as well exposing players for club exchange”.

The one week events will take place at the Cotonou and Grand-Popo stadium.
