Abuja SPOCS Scouting Tourney Enter Day 3

The men have been separated from the boys as Abuja SPOCS scouting tournament enter Day 3.

The high level program, which has been on since November 24, has seen some top class football from the over 36 participating sides in the event taking place at the Mainbowl of the national stadium Abuja..

The teams like Footwork, Virtual, FC Bethel Sporting, Ben Akwuegbu FC, North York FC, Jobi FC, Adeyemi FC, SGFC Athletic amongst others have been a delight to watch.

SPOCS CEO/Founder, Sascha  Empacher described the Abuja scouting tournament as a huge success already.

His words: “Nigeria keeps surprising me with the amount of talents abound everywhere.

“SPOCS will continue coming to Nigeria to fish out these great talents and help them take their career to the next level.

“Remo opened our eyes to the quantum of talents in Nigeria in our very first visit to the country, Bayelsa didn’t also disappoint when we went there and now Abuja. Nigeria is indeed blessed”, he concluded.

The tournament continues today with the selected teams playing their second of game in the tournament and the selected players also forming a selected side that will also feature in the course  of the day.

SPOCS Nigeria Director, Gbenga Agbejoye who’s birthday is today advised the teams to continue maintaining their high professional level and conduct.

“Abuja has actually also surprised me. The level of football and amount of talents on parade has been unprecedented.

“This goes to show that we need to continue combing Nigeria for these talents.

“It hasn’t been easy but the experience has  been worth all the efforts”, he said.

The curtains will draw at the event November 28 as the tournament comes to a befitting end after 5 days of top quality football and organisation.
