Adejumo Peter Eyes Flying Eagles Call Up

Rave of the moment in Egypt, Adejumo Peter Smat is eyeing a call up with Nigeria national U20 side, Flying Eagles.

The El Dabaa FC of Egypt defensive midfielder, who has been instrumental in his team’s successes, playing a very pivotal role in their promotion to the top tier, has continued to impress week -in-week-out to hope to attract notice.

Nicknamed Casimero after former Real Madrid and Manchester United star, the former DS Football Club player is a modern box -box defensive midfielder that can also play in the offensive position when the need arises.

While speaking to SPORTSDAY on Adejumo’s exploits in Egypt, Chairman/Director DS Football Club,

Bishop Dammy Blessing Obianke praised the player’s consistency and all round performances as no small mien.

“Peter has been very impressive since moving to Egypt and we have been receiving positive information concerning his progress on a regular basis.

“We’re proud of his achievements and contributions to his team, El Dabaa FC.

“We hope he gets invited to the U20 as I believe he will be a great fit and an asset to the squad”, Obianke stressed.

Reacting also was the club’s Technical Director, Adedoyin Adejare who lauded Peter as a kid wonder.

“Peter has been punching above his weight and age, which doesn’t come as a surprise to me because he’s an exceptionally talented kid.

“He was voted the best young player in Egypt 3rd division league to underline his pedigree”, Adejare emphasized.

Meanwhile, many top clubs are already after the signature of Adejumo both in Egypt and also in Europe, Asia amongst others.
