The Super Eagles have assured Nigerians that goals will come in torrents as the team gets set to face Angola in the quarter final of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Ivory Coast.
The team’s media officer, Babafemi Raji, gave the assurance during an interview on Channels Television on Friday morning ahead of the clash with Angola.
Recall that Jose Peseiro’s side have only scored five goals in the tournament so far.
They played 1-1 with Equatorial Guinea, 1-0 against Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau, respectively, and also 2-0 against Cameroon.

Speaking about Peseiro’s tactics for the Angola clash and the Super Eagles’ goals record so far in the tournament, Raji said: “Peseiro likes to play attacking football.
“He likes to keep possession of the ball. He likes to play the ball around.
“The goals will come in torrents. What Peseiro likes is beautiful football and attacking football.”
