AFCON 2023 highest goalscorers [Top 13]

Ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarterfinal fixtures, here are the highest goalscorers in the competition so far.

Equatorial Guinea’s Emilio Nsue is presently the top scorer in the 2023 AFCON with five goals.

Nsue is ahead of Egypt’s Mostafa Mohamed and Angola’s Gelson Dala, who have four goals each to their names.

Recall that the AFCON Round of 16 stage matches were concluded on Tuesday night.

Angola, Nigeria, Guinea, Congo DR, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, and South Africa all booked their places in the last-8.

Five goals – Equatorial Guinea’s Emilio Nsue.

Four goals – Egypt’s Mostafa Mohamed and Angola’s Gelson Dala.

Three goals – Algeria’s Baghdad Bounedjah, Burkina Faso’s Bertrand Traoré, Mali’s Sinayoko and Angola’s Mabululu Paciência.

Two goals – Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman, Ghana’s Jordan Ayew, Senegal’s Lamine Camara, Cape Verde’s Mendes da Graça, Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus and South Africa’s Themba Zwane.
