Registrations have continued to pour in with two weeks before the second leg of CHAMPS for Season 3, the MTN CHAMPS Continental Relays takes centre stage at two locations simultaneously: the Yabatech Sports Complex and UNILAG Sports Complex, both in Lagos, from April 9 to 12.
With the deadline for registration set at Wednesday, April 2, 2821 Event Entries have been received from 1111 Athletes as at Monday, March 24. More entries are expected to flood in before the deadline.
The list of registered Athletes comprises 174 Cadets, 388 Youth, 270 Juniors & 279 Seniors.
4371 Event Entries from 2056 Athletes were received for MTN CHAMPS Benin, with the numbers for Lagos expected to exceed the registrations from the first leg of Season 3 hosted in the Edo State capital.
It is compulsory for at least one parent or legal guardian of each participating athlete in the Cadet, Youth & Junior categories to sign the Parental Consent Form, which can be downloaded at http://mtnchamps.com and brought along for bib collection. All Registered Schools/Athletes must pick up their competition bibs to confirm their participation no later than Tuesday 8th April at the competition venue to remain on their event startlists.
Also, all Cadet (U-14), Youth (U-17) and Junior (U-20) Athletes are to come along with a photocopy of a means of identification showing their Date of Birth, such as their Birth Certificates, International Passport or School Records. Do email [email protected] for any enquiries.
