Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has revealed that his team needs good results at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Peseiro said this when asked if the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has settled his outstanding salaries and money owed the players.
The Portuguese spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Super Eagles’ AFCON tie with Equatorial Guinea on Sunday
He said that money is not the team’s problem for now.

“Money and bonuses should be the last discussion, we need good results first. We all need money, but money is the last discussion,” Peseiro said.
“I don’t discuss my salary and bonuses with the media.”
Peseiro’s men head to the Equatorial Guinea clash after losing their last friendly tie against Guinea.
