AFCON 2025: Obasogie  first to arrive Super Eagles Camp

Goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie,  is the first  player  to arrive at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo report ahead of their AFCON 2025 qualifier against Libya, on Friday.

The Fasil Kenema FC shot stopper reportedly  hit the camp in the early hours of yesterday.

Obasogie’s early arrival marks the beginning of preparations, with other invited players expected to join the camp soon, following their respective weekend commitments with their clubs.

Head coach Austin Eguavoen has called up 23 players for the double-header against Libya.

The three-time African champions will host Libya on October 11 for the first leg of their AFCON 2025 qualifiers, with the reverse fixture scheduled in Libya on October 15.

Defenders :William Troost-Ekong, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Olaoluwa Aina, Benjamin Tanimu

Midfielders :Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi

Forwards: Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke, Ademola Lookman, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Boniface, Moses Simon, Taiwo Awoniyi
