OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi has been confirmed to join Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Moffi will replace the injured Victor Boniface in the final 25-man squad due to kick off their Cup of Nations campaign against Equatorial Guinea on January 14.
Boniface reportedly picked up a groin injury during a Super Eagles training session and the player himself posted on social media to confirm his withdrawal from the team and tournament.

Meanwhile, Moffi who was in the initial 41-man provisional squad, has now been called up in his place.
However, the France-based forward will join the team in Ivory Coast.
So far in his international career, Terem Moffi has scored 4 goals in 12 outings for the Super Eagles.
