AFN World Championship/Commonwealth Trials: Enekwechi Hopefull of Medal, Throw 21.25m

United States-based, Chukwebuka Enekwechi threw 21.25m to set a new Personal Record (PR) in the men’s Shotput event at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games and World Championship trials in Benin, Edo State.

Enekwechi erased his previous record of 21.19m he threw at the World Athletics Championship in Doha in 2019.

Chukwuebuka Enekwechi is one of the stars to watch out for at the World Championship in Oregon next month and one of Nigeria medal hopefuls at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham next month.
