Ajax target Sadiq as replacement for Ivorian forward, Halller

Eredivisie champions, Ajax Amsterdam have joined the list of clubs interested in Almeria forward, Umar Sadiq.

Sadiq has been linked with top clubs like Benfica, Sevilla and Valencia.

The lanky striker has scored 38 goals in 76 appearances for the Rojiblancos.

His goals and assists were crucial to Almeria winning promotion to La Liga last season.

Ajax have agreed to sell Côte d’Ivoire forward, Sebastian Haller to Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund with Sadiq seen as a direct replacement for the former Aston Villa striker.

The Nigerian has a €60m release clause on his contract.
