Amunike Task NFF on Local Coaches, Drum Support for Eguaveon

Former Super Eagles, FC Barcelona and AS zamalek winger Emmanuel Amunike has tasked the Nigeria Football Federation NFF on the development of the local coaches, saying they will do better than foreign once if given opportunity.

Former Tanzania National Team coach who was in Garoua for a CAF assignment further maintained that Augustine Eguaveon will do better with the current caliber of players in the Super Eagles if given every support he needs,

According to him, “NFF should learn to believe in their local coaches and help in developing them than thinking of bringing a foreign coach to teach us what but nothing.

“We have all it takes to develop our football. NFF has to make it happen by engaging their own than believing in foreigners which is not good for our football.

Speaking on Austine Eguaveon, Amunike maintained that,” We all see what Eguaveon did with the team within a short period given to him,

“He played the game and also understand African system and mentality of each player in the team. all he need is support from everyone to continue getting it right in the National team. Amunike said.
