The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a detailed timetable for its 2025/2026 nationwide ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses, culminating in the party’s national convention.
The schedule was released on Saturday by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle.
According to the timetable, signed by Basiru, the activities are in line with Articles 11 and 17 of the APC Constitution and are aimed at electing party officials across all levels.
Membership e-registration will commence on Monday, December 1, 2025, and run until January 30, 2026. Notices of congresses to state and Federal Capital Territory chapters will follow on February 2, 2026.
The purchase and submission of forms for ward and local government area (LGA) congresses are scheduled between February 4 and February 9, 2026. Screening committees for ward and LGA positions will be inaugurated on February 10, with aspirant screenings set for February 11 to 13.

Ward congresses are slated for Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with appeals to be heard on February 19. LGA congresses, including the election of three delegates—one female—to the national convention, will hold on February 20, followed by appeals on February 21.
At the state level, the purchase of forms for state executive positions will run from February 23 to 27, 2025. Screening and appeals are scheduled for late February and early March 2026, while state congresses will hold on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Appeals from state congresses will be entertained between March 9 and March 11.
Zonal congresses and the national convention process will follow, with forms for zonal positions to be purchased and submitted between March 12 and 17, 2026. Zonal congresses will be inaugurated on March 18, followed by aspirant screening on March 19 and 20. The zonal congresses across the six geopolitical zones are scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, with appeals on March 23.
The designated zonal offices are Ibadan for the South West, Enugu for the South East, Rivers/Cross River for the South South, Kaduna for the North West, Gombe/Bauchi for the North East, and Nasarawa for the North Central.
The APC National Convention is slated to hold from Wednesday, March 25, to Saturday, March 28, 2026.
