High flying Arubinjaga FA became the winners of the 2024/2025 Lagos State League after a convincing performance on the final day at the Super Four championship beating Ighalo FC by 3 -1.
A hattrick by Olaoye Warith propelled the modest side against their more illustrious opponents to clinch the covetous title.
In the female category, CATS Ladies were a goal better than Ayisat Yusuf as they defeated them 1-0 on the last day of the Super Four to win the Lagos State Women’s League title.
Bucknor FC and Victory Queens emerged as runners up in the male and female category of the developmental league.
Olaoye Warith of Arubinjaga won the Highest goal scorer award while Suenu Mumuni of Young Strikers was adjudged the Best goalkeeper while Udeuzor Oyenka of Bucknor FC finished as the Most Valuable Player.

Jaiyeola Faith of Victory Queens emerged the Highest goal scorer in the women’s category while Shaba Precious of CATS Ladies was named the Best goalkeeper with Juliana James also of CATS Ladies claiming the Most Valuable Player award.
The league Chief Executive Officer, Wale Joseph described the season as a huge success while expressing his appreciation to all stakeholders, Lagos Football Association under the able leadership of Hajji Liameed Gafar, Club Owners, officials, media and everyone for their contributions.
“It’s been a great and successful season. My special appreciation to all stakeholders for their immense contribu, ions and support throughout the season.
“I thank the Lagos FA, Club Owners, officials, media for their support”, he said.
