Bayelsa know opponent in CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers

Nigerian champions, Delta Queens have been drawn in Group A of the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B Qualifiers.

It’s the first time Delta Queens will be playing on the continent.

The Delta Girls will face USFA of Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire’s Atletico D’Abidjan and Sam Nelly of Benin Republic in the group stage.

The competition will serve as the qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.

Nigeria was represented by Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens in the previous edition of the competition.

The 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B Qualifiers will start in Cote d’Ivoire on August 18.

The winner of this tournament will book the only Champions League ticket available for WAFU Zone B.
