Bayelsa Scouting Tourney: SPOCS To Land In Yenagoa October 29

In a bid to ensure that no stone is left unturned to make sure that young talented football players wherever they may be in Nigeria are found and benefits from the unique opportunity offered by SPOCS, the ever- ready Sports management giants’ train will land in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital, Sunday, October 29, for a Scouting Tournament.

This much we were informed by the Director General, Bayelsa Governor’s Football  Tournament, known also as ‘Prosperity Cup’, Ono Akpe Kelvin, in a signed press statement released by his office to the media.

According to the release, the Scouting Tournament is

Powered by Red Sapphire (Official Marketing Company of the Bayelsa Governor’s Football Tournament “Prosperity Cup”.) and SPOCS Sports Consult, Germany.

So far, a total of 16 top teams are expected to partake in the tournament which will hold from October 30 – November 2, 2023.

A team list form will be given to each team representative(s), and they expect the form filled and returned before your game and designated number of photocopies made by the teams for the scouts.

The tournament is for players of 17 years of age, at most 19 years.

Meanwhile, each team has to come with minimum of two team Jerseys. A Home and Away Jerseys, this saves them from clashes in colours of Jerseys, the statement read.
