Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann reportedly clashed with forward Sadio Mane shortly before he was sacked by the club.
Nagelsmann was shockingly sacked from the Allianz Arena last week, with former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel replacing him, even though Bayern Munich are still in contention to win a treble this season.
Many reports have emerged since, suggesting reasons why Nagelsmann and Bayern parted ways.
However, according to Bild, the 35-year-old manager had a bust-up with Mane while at the club.
Mane confronted Nagelsmann in the dressing room in front of the rest of the squad and complained about his lack of more game time at the club.
It is said that the Senegalese international ‘complained furiously’ with ‘the situation in the dressing room even threatening to escalate.’
Mane has scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 28 games for Bayern since joining the Bundesliga champions from Liverpool last summer.
He did miss three months of football due to a muscle injury and only returned to action in the middle of February.
