Liverpool midfielder, Fabinho, is expected to be fit for the Champions League final, despite being forced off with a hamstring issue in their 2-1 win at Aston Villa on Tuesday.

Brazil team doctor, Fabio Mahseredjian, gave the update after the player was named in their squad for upcoming matches against South Korea and Japan.

“We don’t have all the information yet, but we are optimistic that he will reach the Champions League final,” Mahseredjian said.

Fabinho sustained the injury in the 30th minute of the match at Villa Park, as he sprinted back to chase Philippe Coutinho.
