FC Bethel Sporting duo of Okereke Caleb and Enewarikpemi Amietimi shone like a million stars at the just ended SPOCS Scouting Tournament at Ikenne, Remo, Ogun state.

The youngsters were in a form of their lives and approached every game at the program as if it was a world cup final to the admiration of the over 17 scouts who were on ground from different parts of Europe and the Americas.

Like a proud father whose sons have just impressed, an excited Nathaniel Olagunju, Sporting Director FC Bethel Sporting, showered praises on the team for their tenacity, doggedness and determination at the tournament while singling out the two players for their superlative performances.

“I’m indeed very proud of my boys for the performances they put up at Ikenne.

“They showed character, discipline, determination, doggedness, hunger and great passion.

“Who wouldn’t be proud of such high-level football showcased by the boys particularly considering that we hurriedly put the team together in less than three weeks to the tournament?, he asked rhetorically.

“Caleb and Amietimi were awesome and completely on a different level”, he said.

Caleb, known as ‘Master’ by his teammates because of his great understanding of the game and sublime touches, netted the first goal against Beyond Limit through a mind-blowing free kick to set the pace for a 2-0 victory by Bethel, while Amietimi was a trojan at the heart of the defence; puncturing every move by Beyond Limit to equally stand out.
