Box 2 Box and Dominion Hotspur on Tuesday qualified for the final of the United Elites Football Championship. The duo defeated Charlesann and Glorious Day respectively to book their ticket.
While Box 2 Box overcame Charlesann 2-0 in their interesting semi final game to advance to the final, Dominion Hotspur had to go through the rigor of penalty shootouts after full time scores ended 2-2 between them and Glorious Day to edge through 5-3 on penalties.
Both teams Box 2 Box and Dominion Hotspur will clash on Thursday in the final which will be played by 9am at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos.
To get to the final, Dominion Hotspur defeated Spartans FC 2-1 in the round of 8 before getting the better of Glorious Day in the Semi final to book their place in the epic final.
Box 2 Box on the other hand beat Power of De Cross 2-1 in the round of 8 to make it to Semis before winning Charlesann 2-0 in the semi final.
Organizers say it has been so far so good even as the coaches of both sides boast to outwit each other in the final.
