Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso is expected to take action against forward Victor Boniface for reckless driving.
Boniface is facing scrutiny after being caught using his mobile phone while driving dangerously on a highway in Germany.
The 23-year-old Nigeria international shared a photo of himself scrolling through his phone while behind the wheel of his Mercedes Benz.
His actions have sparked widespread criticism.
“I don’t like it, it’s obviously not good, and of course, it’s not allowed,” Alonso told BeIN Sports. “I haven’t spoken to Boni yet, but he knows it’s unacceptable.
We need to make sure he understands this behavior is not allowed.”
