Super Falcons ace, Gift Monday, is inspired by the Confederation of Africa Football awards nominations.
The Nigerian gift had been nominated as one of the players to fight for honours in the CAF Inter-club player of the Year and the Young player of the Year in women’s category.
Monday on her Twitter handle she stated: Wow, I’m speechless and so overwhelmed. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe I would be shortlisted, let alone of getting double nominations. I’m grateful to God and honoured for this incredible and generous recognition. This is for you all supporting me’.
