CAF Considers Club Super League

CAF Accepts Club Super League

After much consultation and deliberations, African Soccer governing body has decided to approve Super League for clubs in the continent, 

The competition was first proposed in Europe but it met a brick wall as Uefa and countries association staunchly opposed the proposal and it was cancelled in the end.

Just before his election as the President of CAF, Patrice Motsepe in the company of FIFA president has hinted on the Super League clubs in Africa citing as a way of improving the club football in the continent.

During its Extraordinary Assembly on Friday in Egypt, the congress approved the Super League but the clubs that will be involved and the criteria is yet to be revealed.
