Manchester City began their quest to finally win the Champions League this season with a 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla.

Red-hot striker, Erling Haaland, opened scoring for the Premier League champions in the first half, before Phil Foden doubled their lead.

Haaland scored again before Ruben Diaz rounded off the scoring.

Real Madrid also beat Celtic 3-0, thanks to goals from Vinicius Jr, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard.

Paris Saint-Germain survived a second-half fight from Juventus to win 2-1 at the Parc des Princes.

Kylian Mbappe’s brace gave the Ligue 1 champions a comfortable lead, before McKennie pulled one back for the Italians.

Chelsea suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at Dinamo Zagreb in the early kick-off.
