Championship: Troost-Ekong hails teammates after Watford return to winning ways

William Troost-Ekong praised his Watford teammates following the club’s hard-earned 1-0 away victory at Norwich City on Monday.

The Hornets ended their two-game winless run by snatching victory at Carrow Road.

Slaven Bilic’s side was battered 4-0 by Swansea City on their last away trip but recovered quickly to snatch all three points to help their promotion push.

Cote d’Ivoire forward, Vakoun Bayo scored the decisive goal four minutes from time.

“The best way to start 202+3! Well done lads”, Troost-Ekong wrote on his Twitter handle.

The centre-back has featured in 14 league games for the London club this season with a goal to his name.

Watford occupies the fourth position on the Sky Bet Championship table with 40 points from 26 matches.
