CHAN 2023: Home Eagles tackle Plateau United on Tuesday

The home-based Super Eagles will take on Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Plateau United in a friendly on Tuesday.

The encounter is billed for the practice pitch of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Salisu Yusuf’s side is preparing for the 2023 African Nations Championship qualifiers against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

The Eagles defeated local side, Mahanaim 3-2 in their first friendly last week.

They defeated AS Roma Academy 2-0 in the second friendly.

Nigeria will take on Ghana in the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

The reverse fixture is billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, September 3.

The overall winners of the contest will qualify for the CHAN 2023 to be hosted by Algeria.
