CHAN 2023: Yusuf unveils squad as Home Eagles storm Cape Coast

Home- Eagles head coach Salisu Yusuf on Friday unveiled a 22-man squad for the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

Yusuf dropped 13 players from the initial 35 players invited to camp.

The list consisted of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and five strikers.

Notable among the players who made the trip are goalkeepers; Adewale Adeyinka and Ojo Olorunleke, Samson Gbadebo, Tope Olusesi, Chijoke Akuneto, and Ossy Martins.

The players and their officials departed Abuja for Accra for the game on Friday morning.

The first leg will take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

The reverse fixture is billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on September 3.
