Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has extended his congratulations to the Super Falcons following their triumphant campaign at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Falcons claimed a record-extending 10th WAFCON title after staging a remarkable comeback to defeat Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses 3–2 in the final.

Justine Madugu’s side recorded the highest number of goals (14) and conceded the fewest (three) at the WAFCON 2024 finals.

Chelle said the Super Falcons fully deserved to win the trophy.

“I want to congratulate the coach, it was a great tournament, I’m so proud of you and your technical staff. You deserve this trophy. I’m so happy for you and your family,” Chelle told the Super Eagles media.
