Chelsea release new squad numbers for players

Chelsea Football Club has revealed the updated squad numbers for the upcoming 2022/23 season, including several notable changes and new assignments. Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill are among the players who have been allocated new numbers ahead of the team’s summer tour in the USA.

According to a statement on Chelsea’s official website, Levi Colwill will don the No.6 shirt, previously worn by Thiago Silva last season. Meanwhile, Wesley Fofana has chosen the No.29 jersey for the upcoming campaign.

Summer signing Tosin Adarabioyo will sport the No.4 shirt, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been assigned the No.22 jersey.

The statement further announced the introduction of Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu, and Renato Veiga to the squad, with initial squad numbers of 37, 38, and 40 respectively.

Chelsea’s preparations for the new season are in full swing as they finalize their squad ahead of competitive fixtures.
