The controversial Ricketts family has received further boosts in their bid to buy Chelsea Football Club from Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich.
This is after Cobra Beer founder Lord Karan Bilimoria joined the familyโs bid to buy the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Lord Bilimoria, who is a Chelsea fan and founding chairman of the UK India Business Council now adds political clout to the Rickettsโ attempt to buy the club
US multi-billionaires Ken Griffin and Dan Gilbert have since joined the Ricketts family to put together a hefty offer for Chelsea.
Chelseaโs sale is expected to reach a sports-franchise record ยฃ3 billion.
