Reigning Commonwealth Games champion, Chioma Onyekwere is the new African record holder in the women’s Discus Throw!.

The 28 year old who made history as the first Nigerian to win the Commonwealth Games Discus throw gold medal threw a distance of 64.96m at the Oklahoma Throws Series to break the 64.87m record set by South Africa’s Elizna Naudé in March 2007.
