Covid -19 Tragedy Struck As Two Super Eagles Players are Positive

Tragedy struck ahead of the game as the sample of the players was taken as part of the CAF protocol and duo of Bordeax Samuel kalu and Venezia of Italy Tyronne Ebuehi tested postive before the team departure to cape Verde this morning.

Hence ruled both players out of tomorrow encounter in the ongoing Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier far away Central Africa where Kalu was supposed to play as N0 10 in the absence of Alex Iwobi.

The report about Covid cases, the positive cases happened in Lagos and not in Cape Verde. The players are mandated to undergo a second test today in Lagos. They didn’t travel with the team this morning.These are key players in the team that can add value to the match . Can some of the players that will be given an opportunity will they benefit from the ugly virus that struck these important players.
