Crystal Palace targets Kelechi Iheanacho

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho is attracting the interest of Premiership side Crystal Palace.

Kelechi has been plying his trade in the lower English Championship with Leicester City after they were relegated last season.

According to the Daily Mail, Palace are having a bad run of “too few goals” upfront since talisman Wilfried Zaha left for Saudi Arabia.

The Eagles see the Nigerian as a strong option for firepower.

For Iheanacho, this would be a fast return to the EPL.

Iheanacho, 26, has played three times for the Championship side this season, not scoring yet.

He has 56 goals in 210 appearances in all competitions in his seven seasons at the club since joining from City for £25million in 2017.
