With yesterday’s historic flag off, of the National Sports Festival, all is now set for the hosting of Nigeria’s version of the Olympic Games by Delta state.
At the eye popping symbolic lighting of the games’ torch in Abuja, the government and people of Delta state have reaffirmed their resolve to host the best ever sporting extravaganza in the festival history.
Between November 28 and December 10, Delta will play the good host to 35 states and the federal capital territory in over 35 sports where one state will emerge as the overall champions.
Delta is the defending festival kings.
