Eagles back in Lagos after sealing AFCON ticket

Super Eagles, the Nigerian national men’s football team, have made a triumphant return to Lagos following their victory in Monrovia, which secured their spot in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

In an intense match held at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, the Super Eagles emerged victorious with a 3-2 win against Sierra Leone, marking their fourth victory in the qualifying campaign.

The Nigerian team started that encounter brilliantly, with Victor Osimhen scoring an impressive brace in the first half.
