In Belgium, Jordan Torunarigha provided an assist for Sven Kums in the 16th minute, but Gent had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home against Royal Antwerp. Torunarigha was substituted in the 46th minute, while Victor Udoh came on for Royal Antwerp in the 77th minute.
In Scotland, the Old Firm derby saw Celtic dominate Rangers with a 3-0 victory. Super Eagles attacker Cyriel Dessers played for Rangers but failed to score and received a yellow card in the 67th minute.
