Indications have emerged that the Presidency has backed down from expressely endorsing any candidate in Saturdays APC Guber primaries this is contrary to information being bandied by some leaders from Edo that a President Tinubu has given a directive as to the preferred candidate.
Our sources revealed that the directive was for the Edo political leadership to back a candidate able to give the candidate of PDP a good fight. ” APC needs Edo state back in its column and defeat is not an option”.
There has been some confusion and uncertainty about the direction of Edo APC. Senator Oshiomole who is the leader of the state seems to have turned a different direction which has shocked many people.
