Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said he takes the blame for their 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.
Julio Encisco, Deniz Undav, and Pervis Estupinan all scored in the second half for the visitors.
Manchester City will now be champions if they beat Chelsea at the Etihad next week.
When asked what was responsible for his team’s collapse, Arteta told BBC: “I always like to defend my players, so I take responsibility.”
He added: “I stood here and very proud of what we did last week, but today we have to apologise to our people.
“We have to move on very quickly and not keep that feeling for a long time.”
