Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said the spirit around Chelsea ‘is great’.
It has been a tricky period for the Blues players and staff, not only due to the change in manager but also the international break which perhaps came at an unusual time, not giving the players the best of chances of understanding Graham Potter’s philosophies.
Despite that, the striker says the mood in the camp is good, and on a personal level, he is feeling confident heading into our next set of fixtures.
He said, “When you win games it is easier and the mood is very good at the moment. We’ll try to keep it up!
“I am feeling good. I was very welcomed by all the team-mates and staff. It was a bit strange to play against them [AC Milan] after a lot of years but that’s football.
“My goal was really special to tell the truth, it was my ex-team and we had a great night, we played very well so we are happy.”
