EPL: Man City to pour £300m into Etihad development

Manchester City are putting in £300 million of investment into their Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens are aiming to bring up the capacity of their ground by around 7,700 seats.

The club will be able to host up to 61,000 fans when all the work is complete in the coming years.

As part of the redevelopment, per The Mail, there will also be a new hotel, covered fan park, megastore and a museum set up in and around the ground.

City’s Abu Dhabi owners have already put in around £1 billion into previous stadium improvements, the training ground and community centers.

The club are aiming to get the work done by the start of the 2025-26 season.
