Manchester United chiefs are ready to step up their interest for Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
The Old Trafford dwellers are looking for a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, and Osimhen, according to reports, is a top choice to replace the Portuguese captain who was sacked recently.
According to Daily Mail, top officials at the Premier League club, on Tuesday, had a meeting, and the potential capture of
Osimhen was on the agenda.
Manchester United have been trailing the player for sometime now, and with Ronaldo off the wage bill, the Reds are optimistic
they can get the Nigerian in the summer.
Osimhen is also reportedly on the rader of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old leads this season’s Serie A goal charts, having scored nine times from 11 appearances this campaign.
